Abstract
This article reports on the progress of a project analyzing non-linear music practices in seven Argentine video games (2014–2025). Adopting a qualitative-poietic approach, it combines interviews and gameplay analysis to provide an initial mapping of the surveyed techniques. Key findings highlight resource-constrained creativity, the central role of middleware, and implementation as a compositional act in its own right.
